A beautiful summer morning....time to reflect!

The first shot was taken at 6:12 am, such a gorgeous summers day. Blue skies, sunshine and amazing views, a great start to the day absorbing the beauty. An early start to the day makes me so grateful for the simple pleasures nature has to offer. The early morning crisp fresh air, the sunrise and warmth on your skin, the hues of the sky that changes with every sunrise, I truly believe no two sunrises are every the same and every single time I am in awe at the awakening of the sun each morning, truly a captivating experience.

The below picture was taken at the Umhlanga nature reserve, the walk way is build over the water and not the most stable, not straight either so one has to exercise caution when treading along here. Much like life to be honest, the journey is never stable, there are always twists and turns along the way, humps and bumps, however it doesn't mean we don't take the journey, in fact we learn with every step how to navigate through life, and every wrong step along the way has a lesson waiting for us as soon as we come to that realization that we have made a mistake in whatever way.

The key is to reflect on what has happened, why it happened and the role you played in it, in this way we learn about life and about ourselves. My realization for myself is that life is a journey of self improvement, we have to go through it, and we have to learn from it to move forward. If we aimlessly go through life, we constantly face challenges because of our resistance to learn from the wrong steps taken or paths we have chosen. Be cognizant of the choices you make, this is one thing you can control!
